Selo's Assonant Strane not working as it should
When I use selo's assonant strane (using a lute) on a group of mobs and then use Denon's Disruptive Dischord (using a horn) on that same group, the mobs all begin to move about twice is fast. This is clearly not working as intended. Denon's Disruptive Dischord shouldn't override a completely different song, nor should switching instruments.

Anyone else notice this? If I could have anything for christmas, it would be to have this bug fixed. Do I need to provide evidence? I just figured it should behave like all other songs with instrument modifiers do.

I've isolated the problem I think. It seems to happen when I switch instruments and begin twisting a different song that affects the mobs that were slowed, then the modifier for the snare component disappears and the mobs start moving faster (still relatively slow, but faster than they should be moving). If someone else uses a non-stringed song on a swarm of enemies I have snared, that won't change their speed, however.
Here's three examples that further clarify the problem: 1. If I use SAS with a lute equipped on a swarm of mobs, the mobs go very slowly (as they should). If I switch to a horn and begin using denon's disruptive discord, and it hits all the mobs, ALL the mobs will begin running faster, as if SAS's stringed modifier wasn't applied 2. If I use SAS with a lute equipped on a swarm, and then switch to a drum and use Tuyen's chant of flame (or some other percussion instrument), only the mob that I target will begin moving faster; the rest will continue moving very slowly. 3. If I use SAS with a lute on a swarm, and someone else's Bard uses Denon's Disruptive Discord (with a horn equipped), the mobs will continue running as slow as they should be. This part is working as intended. Seems like it wouldn't be too hard to fix. |
Fixed, pending update.
