Ugly Text Problem

okay, I followed this guide to set it up http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2651

the game is up and running but the UI and text looks like horrible shit, like it's overlapping.

that's what it looks like

although it's still readable, it does get really bad.

I've already tried reinstalling (and deleting the first directory and creating a new one) but it's still bunk

anybody know the solution? would be much appreciated

oh that's strange, haven't seen that before. It might have to do with your video cards settings or something like that.

My text gets squished if I'm in widowed mode.. Otherwise haven't noticed anything horrible.. :/

I closed the extra windows and I dragged the chatbar size, no fix though.

also played with windows and fullscreen, and fiddled around with different resolutions. Nothing fixed it though :(

try /chatfontsize 1-5 it is different sizes of text for the chat boxes it might at least fix it in the chat boxes

I have the same problem, doesn't matter what font I pick either - but only happens in window mode. In full screen mode text appears normal.

Same problem here. It seems to have started when I installed WinEQ2, but I need WinEQ2 to help resolve dual core and crash issues.

Annoying problem.

Its related to you resolution, what size screen are u using and whats its max resolution? i have the same problem on my 54" tv. I have to change the font size to eliminate that fuzzyness.
