Lessons for Ladanyin the Bard

Today, Ladanyin wanted to learn how a bard should hunt gnolls in blackburrow. She ventured in and as luck would have it there were three other bards in blackburrow so she would surely get an education.

One of the bards was of moderate skill level between Wiko and Ladanyin. The other two , Hulio and Ocra could have easily written Wiko's tombstone. There was also a young halfling named Arnie, who seemed to be quite green compared to Ladanyin, but was apparently doing well. There was carnage everywhere, with dead gnolls in all the hallways.

So, Ladanyin and Wiko searched for some gnolls of their own to fight, but it appeared the valiant efforts of the other bards had defeated all of the gnolls of blackburrow. All that was left for Ladanyin and Wiko to do was watch.

Ladanyin soon realized that Hulio was quite a skillful bard. Since there were no gnolls for her to fight, she observed Hulio's technique. Arnie was in there again, doing his best against much more powerful foes.

Arnie was watching too. Ahh.. the life of a bard, performing for others.
