Procs and double attack

Proc rate is a fixed chance per swing based on delay and dex to produce an average number of procs per period of time, but how does double attack figure in? I don’t think I’ve seen two procs per round with one hand, but I may have missed it. Does proc only happen on the first initiated swing and never on the double/triple attack?

I was puzzling over this while swinging away on my cleric today, who will forever be limited to one attack per round.

Thanks seers.

all based on dex, any swing can proc regardless of hitting or missing

Even double attack swings?

Not sure if it’s different for pets but I’ve seen my pet proc 2 times in a single round of melee

I wonder if double attack would alter the formula and reduce the proc rate. The rate is already being adjusted for haste and if it's in the offhand.

Proc rate is a function independent of weapon delay as far as i understand.

I like how a bunch of people replied yet nobody has answered

Extra swings from double/triple attack don't seem to be able to proc.... Rather than 'per swing' perhaps we should talk about 'each time the weapon's delay has elapsed'.

Incidentally this 'each time a weapons delay has elapsed' phrasing would then rightly cover the situation where duel wield can produce an offhand proc even when it fails to produce a swing.
