What level is this pet? Do we know any specifics about what skills it has (dual wield etc.) and hp/dmg?

It's mid-20s. As an animal, it doesn't wield weapons. IDK hp. max hits around 30ish I think? Havent summoned it in like 6 months, so I don't remember exactly.

Its cute and thats all that matters. Its like giving a knife to your puppy.

Best use I’ve found for it is paired with a clicky reclaim mage item. If the low level of the pet doesn’t result in unwanted proximity aggro for your group and there aren’t aoes flying around that will snipe it, it effectively allows you to bank an extra 600 on demand emergency mana. Functionally it allows your total working mana to be a big jump higher than your gear alone would dictate. That’s pretty huge, but comes with drawbacks.

It has really low hp. Max hit I’ve clocked one to have is 28 (30 may be the highest). It is low level so doesn’t reasonably actually land hits reliably. For the same reason it’s never going to mitigate we’ll even fully buffed. It’s an animal so will never be able to triple or quad. For kicks and grins I did once have one buffed to the gills with natureskin, maniacal strength, focus, and my haste. It had obscene levels of stacked str and attack and still missed more than 1/3 of hit attempts on seb trash.

Troxx is spot-on that it can act as a "mana battery" in certain situations with that mage reclaim pet item. Shamans do the same thing with their wolf pets + the mage reclaim clicky

Good for pet checking mobs....doing train pulls....buff itbwith thornes, hp buff, regeb and sow and it becomes an effective low range farm tool - think pelt farming.

Iused my Druid on red to farm Pegi Cloaks usin a buffed pet and as tracker too.


It has it's uses...but in meta game I would agree Troxx is on point...a 600pt mana battery is its best use.

It can be great for factioning also. When you're raiding giants in Kael for instance, the chumpy giants can go down fast, and sending the bear pet in can be faster and easier than trying to cast on them before they die.

I've used it to pull dragons in West Wastes. Allowed me to park him in the canyon while I was up top.

My bear pet hit Master Yael for 15 once.
