Best gems to resell
 

Hey I play a monk so obviously weight is an issue. When I’m farming plat what’s the best gem to buy where I lose the LEAST amount of coin upon resale.

Yessir! Peridots are nice to have if your tipping for rezzs or ports. And the rubys for the farm life

Can confirm Rubies are fantastic and accessible. I ended up with a full backpack of them leveling from 38-44ish.

I've used Sapphires. ~100pp per sapphire so it is pretty easy to keep track of how many you need.

I want to say all of the vendor bought gems for jewelcrafting should resale for ~5% less than you paid with 104+ charisma and an indifferent vendor.

IMO Peridots are the best since they are about 10p each and are used as a common spell ingredient for clerics. Make for great tips to druids or clerics.

Platinum bars are the best I have found for ground transferring plat to an alt. Lose very little when reselling (with appropriate charisma and faction.)

Grab a kobold jesters crown and a crude stein and that's 45 charisma right there.
