Thinking about coming back, quick question.
 

Quickly: As a rather undergeared warrior, is there any hope in for me in Kunark?

Long story:
I've got a 31 Ogre Warrior and a 23 Necro. I'd forgotten how gear dependent a warrior is, but I was really enjoying playing the class until I got taken for someone around 260 plat (just about every penny I had). I had to ask someone to hold the plat to transfer to a toon that could buy the rubies in Freeport for a couple of crafted pieces I was ready to turn in and they ended up disappearing on me.

Rather soul crushing, but I moved to the necro thinking I could solo up and gear up my warrior, but it's not the class that I want to play, and I couldn't stick with the necro.

So would a 31 Warrior with gnoll hide lariats, a crafted bp and a bunch of bronze and banded be functional enough to find a group in kunark? When I left months ago, there was already an influx of twinked warriors, I image that's only gotten more prevalent.

Give it a shot, I wouldn't imagine people would turn you away as long as you can hold some kind of agro.

Plus, with kunark, the ability to gear up on the fly is much greater than classic. (IE, just group in the right places and you'll likely be able to equip yourself).

Grind that warrior son.

Grind it, grind it grind it!!!! do it!!! Ogre warriors are *possibely* the best tanks in kunark. 51+ warriors are hands down the best tanks in kunark, and having the added bonus of slam can be pivotal when fighting casters mobs. Keep the faith, poosh the mobs.

I have some shards I would let you buy cheap, way better than lariats imho.

Ogre warriors are the best tanks in the game, no possibly about it.

You'll be a lot more comfortable 50+ when you can get lots of nice weapon and armor upgrades from Kunark dungeons.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm back. Watch out for Bigginugly the ill-equiped Ogre over in Frontier Mountains. By the way, my poor memory of Kunark is failing at the moment... Binding for evil races, is that on the outskirts of FV, or can I just waltz on in to Cabalis?
