This came about when ToV leapfrogging became a standard. {Sadly week 1}

In order to get the kill, you have to engage +2 guards (and now +4 guards for Vulak).
This is the reason you need high numbers to kill mobs.

If there was no leapfrogging, any standard size guild could head through NToV and kill dragons.

AM wanted foot races over COTHing so those targets were selected to be conjoined with the great Race agreement of 2019.

They did not hand them over willingly or freely.

It's a nice bit of karma that after they forced foot races on everyone because they thought they had the superior racers, they started losing the majority of races.

Also don't hit me with the Muh loot conveyor belt slant. I've said the same thing since Day #1 of rooted dragons. That EarthQuake was one of the most fun experiences playing on p99, but I have a feeling that it will get old very quick.

Even in a world where Guard Guard merges with aegis who merges with AM and we got the lion's share of the loot again, i'd be saying the same shit. This version of ToV raiding is lame.
