Outside of obvious str=more DPS

How beneficial are dex & age for monks?

I think I remember from classic that more agi contributes to dodge and dex to weapon proc (maybe a kunark bonus)


Thinking of rolling other stats but wanna read up.
Any resources?

Okay, this is late game (but as you say not much in the way of proc in vanilla for monk): Boon of garou + dexterity + focus + avatar + vog = +335 dex

No, and i'm gonna start attending wtov on a lvl 52 scum bag alt monk.

No melee type on P99 cares about its starting attributes less than a Monk does. Most folks will put points into strength or stamina. 20 into either one works fine. 10 into each works fine. Don't over-think it.

to be more specific,

DEX improves your chances to proc. not necessary at launch. 85 is super fine. (technically it also helps you level up some weapon skills)
AGI will do shit nothing for you above 75. not necessary at launch and ever after. 85 is super fine cause it means you're still at 75 when/if you wear a Fungi. (technically it also gives you a very ridiculously tiny bit of AC)

that plus above two posts should clear things up for you OP.
if i were to play a monk day one of green i'd go +20 STR and never look back.
