Wizard Bane and Unresistable Spells on Belly Casters

These were usable from Range in classic, but it appears the recent change captured them as well:

going to go through the patch notes to see if this was in from launch

Vindi isn’t even a belly caster. I’m confused.

Post from January 2002. Should be enough evidence to support unresistable spells landing from outside melee range. Early raid guides to the contrary most likely didn’t understand the mechanics at the time.

A few notes from my experience...
Felden sez, "All casting must be done in melee range."
I sez, "Mostly, however..." Mana sieve can be cast from maximum range. The 'In melee range' rules comes from Dragons and some other critters being immune to any spell not cast by someone who isn't hittable as it were. In seives case, it is fully unresistable, so even if at long range it will land. Knowing this can save some healing since the encs won't be getting rained on...”
