180k were purged according to Rogean

I made Sentinel on the beta. It seems likely they're claimed on blue rather than disallowed by the client.

Hard to believe. Still can't choose anything remotely close to names I was wanting.

So I was thinking this morning...

Isn't it paradoxal that 99% of the names people are saying "Woohoo I could finally grab ____!!!" are names that would have been purged about one year ago when people like Winchester or Idol took a bullet?

Made me wonder if that purge wasn't just very specifically targetted at some players to make them rage quit, included some random casuals to make it look like it was global, one day madness purge in the tunnel and sayonara. smells like targetted vengeance/attack to me.

Because the 180k names released yesterday were not Gardaluviel, Ertonbobble, Lulyanna, Terpidor or Fillibasp, cause these names were still very available. (https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...d.php?t=335238)

What people got or wanted to get is Deadpool, Sentinel, Chaos, Wise, Mickey, Canon and whatnot, aka perfectly bannable names.

Not an attack on staff.
Not a conspiracy theory.

But I guess a minute of silence for the dead of last year that didn't deserve it apparently.

The only thing that matters is how cool your name sounds when people inevitably shorten it to 3-4 letters.
