I can't find a comprehensive list but how does pet exp work?

Do we need to do 50% damage to mob to get full xp or can we do 1 damage and pet does the rest? I remember early p99 blue 1dmg was all we needed.

I believe you must do at least 50% of the damage or the pet will take 50%, if you do that or more, you get all of it. That's what it seems like, playing.

Feels like my pet takes fuckin 90% of the xp sometimes when I'm solo its crazy.

Killing 100 blue con mobs for 1Y of xp @ level 5 doesnt seem accurate.

Pet xp nerf isn't classic so yeah should feel bad.

Group and you both get full exp.

2 mages is hax. 1 mage and any other class is a PL.

even two mages together would still have to outdamage their pets right?

No. If you're grouped pets can do all the damage and you'll still get full xp.

Depending on the level of the content versus the level of the duo members though, there could be a situation where you get less XP than if you just soloed and the pet took half, so it's important to crunch the numbers before duoing
