Is there any talks about instanceing zones to prevent overcrowding like they do in live?

what i am getting at is that eq realized that with 700 they bit off more than they could chew so they made more servers it wasn't till recently the combining of servers did they realize hell lets just put them in instance zones it was a quality of life change not like a map but the ability to move around in a zone and kill things

El-Hefe 10-27-2019 06:33 PM

You’re not meant to kill nonstop. The difficulty is intentional.

Everybody knows what you're getting at. But 99% of us are here because of the LACK of stuff like instances.

Instancing isn't just a qol change. It changes the game at its core. No one denies classic eq wasn't really built for a 2500-player day one. But the VAST majority of folks here, including nilbog and rogean, value the more classic mechanics even if they may include some bumps along the way.
