If your Meditate Button OR Spellbook Icon is pure black and you can't see the button.

Texture ON (so you can see the art and not a flat color)
Tint White (240 240 240)

I see people mentioning this problem or that their button is missing.

If you don't find luck doing this, try the following nuclear route:

1. Delete the file EverQuest\UI_yourname_P1999Green.ini
2. Delete the folder EverQuest\uifiles\velious
3. Recopy the files from the patch 52 zip file to your EverQuest directory
4. Launch the game again and enjoy

Forget waiting for the next expansions to drop, I can't wait for a new UI to drop.
