The darkness
 

I was playing my gnome all weekend in total darkness during night time. I was under the impression that this was classic.(I do not have any problems on Blue with my human necro).

Late Sunday i found out that other gnomes didn't have this blindness at night and I was told to up gamma. But my gamma is at max and even if i move the slider nothing changes, it dosen't get any brighter or darker.

I raised brightness on monitor and that made it somewhat better, but not as near as good as on Blue.

Any ideas why my gamma isnt changing when moving the bar?

The gamma slider will not affect your night vision. It's been changed to kindof enforce the classic darkness. Try to get a lightsource if you can. It's not much, but better than nothing.

Alright, but how come some see ok in the dark and others like me are almost blind(not talking about infravision)?

Have you tried casting magic missile at the darkness?
