Deepwater Harpoon - Gamebreaking on Green? A low level gnome messaged me yesterday offering a player-made quest in Freeport which provided a Deepwater Harpoon as the reward. He linked the item to me and there is a way for rogues to glitch the quest. This item is almost best in slot pre-planes. It should be removed and quest should be fixed if this is the case. |

Wiki shows it as minimum level 40. Should be 40 for turn-in; would solve the problem. |

What's so great about an 18/40 2hs for rogues? |

The quest could be done at level 1 on live and you didn't even have to do the potion part of it. There is nothing wrong with the quest here. |

Paladin-only. There’s no way for rogues to equip it. Also, they can’t backstab with it as it is not a Piercing weapon. What do you mean by “glitch the quest”? I bet rogues with the proper faction can do the quest without any glitch at all. |

All you need is to kite spectres for 15 minutes and oyu have a new weapon. Theres nothing glitchy about it |

Lol seriously? It’s game-breaking for paladins to have high level weapons through a quest that can be done by a level 1 sneaking rogue. No one is suggesting it’s game breaking for the rogue...other than the money they could earn at level one selling it. |

Oh, ok, good. There are a lot of noobish questions lately. Glad to know yours is NOT one of them. Anyway. Are the quest and item classic? |
