Spell resist aggro

I can't recall ever knowing how much aggro resisted spells generated versus spells that land. Does anyone know if a resisted spell should cause less, more, or the same amount of aggro?

I remember some Paladin on live telling me that his resisted stuns pulled more agro than his stuns that landed.

Resists should be the same amount of aggro as if the spell landed. If this is actually true or not in the code, I'll have to look.

Yeah spell resist was way more agro (at least it always seemed that way to me).

Used to be more aggro than the spell landing - especially noticeable by poor slowers.

I've noticed more agro, from resist on Slow then from actual landing a slow. They are both high agro, but i always get the mob on me immediatly on a resist. (shaman)

This is what I'm seeing with darkness line. Just was curious if it was intended or if I should bug report it. Thanks guys.

It's possible it could be applying aggro twice on resists. This will be something I'd need to test in depth by monitoring hate lists on the server. I'll have to get with a caster on the server sometime to do it.
