Is Permafrost down? Zoned in and instantly crashed, now I can't get on my toon at all, it tells me:
EverQuest cannot load the zone file \*permafrost_object.s3d\* in the directory you are currently running EverQest from. The file is present but it may be corrupt. \n\nPlease either reinstall or delete and re-patch this file. \n\nFor assistance with this problem, please call (858)-537-0898, or visit our website at http://ww.everquest.com.

I did delete the permafrost files, and repatched it twice. So didn't know if the zone was just down or what.

What do you mean you "patched it twice", you ran the EQ patcher program? That's a big no no and will bork your whole install.

V52, re-patched it twice.

Not sure, same happened to be about 30 mins ago with SolA

Move that file out of that folder (dont delete it just yet) and try again

Did you install from titanium disks?

Did you ever get it fixed?
I still cant get in, or out at least, of Permafrost. Got a character stuck in there now.

If it was working and now it's not the zone probably went down seen that happen a bit
