What do you think the issue was between Nick and Sam's wife? Why is there so much animosity?

Did Nick really trip her or did she fall on her own?

Hmmm , personally I believe what happened here was a classic game of oneupmanship gone a bit far but not too much.

The final nail in the coffin was the 2000$ bet which showed clearly the state of sibling rivalry so evident in the room.

The animosity is more of a misconstrued effort on behalf of the director to try to entice viewers to feint into classical ways of thinking.

The only objection I can see is that one of the filler friends in the background acted too shocked, as if they had never before seen something like this, which is obviously a lie, as evident in their lizardlike composures.

All in all a 4/6.7
