We are all responsible for when we decide to play or not play EQ. What pisses me off is when Walmart started doing Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving night. That was BS.

40% xp penalty, 40% bonus spawn rate of names and drop rate on legacy items.

permadeath no items drop 200% exp penalty constant shouting from NPCs about how adventurers are losers during holidays

Make all deaths leave no rez corpses. All level dings -1 instead of +1 level.

Make the quests so stupid that people don't know why they are doing them anymore

Wait, instead of the 40% penalty, just make anyone who logs in their character on thanksgiving get it transformed into a ranger permanantly

But then we make the NPCs run around kicking all the players in the groin for 32k dam. Someone losing all their gear to a 32k groin kick from Nillipuss would be top quality EQ comedy.
