Just another thank you thread to the staff
 

I imagine the staff know that the P99 forums are generally pessimistic, conflicted and often toxic, and that the majority of the player base at any given time are both happy with the servers and extremely grateful to the staff for their efforts.

It bears repeating every now and then though, so I just wanted to throw up another thread thanking everyone involved in creating, maintaining and protecting Project 1999. It really is an incredible achievement.

Also just wanted to mention that most people I see in-game, on Reddit and even on the Discord are very pleasant and positive. Many do not actively participate in these forums. A lot of us here are heavily (perhaps too much so) invested in the game, and that breeds strong feelings and complications.


Edit: Also, I have to laugh at the "Servers are too full", "Servers are dead!", "No servers are too full" threads cluttering up the forums. Maybe these could be shuffled on over to Rants & Flames along with the legacy item drop rate threads.

Yeah I gotta say you guys did a really great job on Green and Teal! Even with the complainers going on and on about the list system and how rare the rare items are (lol) I think you guys really deserve to pat yourselves on the back.

Thank you 100 times over! I love OG Everquest and thanks to the dream of a couple dudes 10+ years ago I get to spend time in Norrath again. Really truly thank you so much.

The developers of P99 deserve all the praise in the world for Green and Teal. Especially for recognizing the overcrowding problem early and opening Teal.

I would like to thank the p99 team for what they've done for the classic everquest green server. Thanks a bunch you guys rock!

You've definitely revived the original experience, for the most part. Much kudos are deserved. I got the fire back I haven't had in years. Great job to the entire staff.
