How to change the theme song?
 

I happen to not enjoy the login theme. How do I change it so that it plays the Rivervale theme?

Bonus points for any other solid upbeat themes to use as well. The one it plays by default is a bit loud for me and not that great IMO.

Based on your username you should seek to replace it with the theme from the A-Team.

That being said, A-Team is a solid choice. Now to figure out the "how".

Without looking or testing, I think you just replace/rename eqtheme.mp3?

On a serious note, yep, usually replacing all mp3s with same name but using the song you want works.

Green has an odd thing where sometimes it plays the midi version, but have not yet found out the culprit.

Just replace every zone music with Velk's. Bliss.

I went with "Cake - Mahna Mahna". No regrets, my Halfling Druid is going to town with this on the intro.

For anyone interested:

Open your SONY/Everquest directory. Search for eqtheme, CUT the file out, paste it in the SONY folder (you may want it back later).

Find any .MP3 file you want, paste it into the SONY/Everquest directory, and rename it to eqtheme.mp3
