Courtesy AFK check: How long?
 

Let's say someone's camping Hadden and Hadden is just chilling there in front of someone else that's AFK.

How long should I wait until I can take it myself?

I send a tell and wait about 30 seconds send anotjer tell saying I sent you a tell 3 minutes ago killing this and them go to town

I think 2 minutes is fair.

if you don't have to poop right then, you can just go sit on the can for a bit and if it's still up when you come back you're gtg

Bear in mind however long you give it... 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes...

...if you kill Hadden they're going to have an issue and petition. Anything over 2-3 minutes I'd hope the staff would consider that you had patience - one of those awesome grey areas.

If you know the people there know the timer and aren't at the keyboard when that shit pops, fuck them and their stupid face and go ahead and take that shit. You can tell them MJ said it was ok.

If the spawn is up for 2 minutes you are good is my understanding, but maybe see that documented by an admin somewhere before you try it.

Long time p99 player here. The official word from gm's is about 5 minutes. If you don't wait the considerable amount of time you may be DT'd and item(s) taken from your inventory
