Is this faction goal possible?
Background: I killed 2,000+ bards on on my mage on Blue, but am still KoS in Mistmoore. Never received the "cannot get any better" message.
There are 2 primary factions in MM: Agents of Mistmoore and Mayong Mistmoore. Agents faction cannot be raised by any means. MM faction can be raised. According to the faction page (see: http://wiki.project1999.com/Faction), max-KoS is -2000. max-dubious is -699. It's accurate -- tested it on other factions. Should only be ~1300 kills (assuming only 1 faction point per kill) to go from max-KoS to dubious. Goal: Become non-KoS in MM with a toon on Green. Question: Does anyone have any info on how multiple factions interact? Averaged? Irony: Bards get the best faction-improving spell/song. Might take a bard to accomplish. |
There might be another faction they are on that cannot be raised/lowered that just isn’t listed. Kinda like some of the Kael giants it’s impossible to become non kos to.

I can run over to Mistmoore later and faction song buff on green, I’ve slaughtered bards to the faction cannot get any worse point

Base faction
The base faction dump from live from https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...64&postcount=3 shows:
Code:
285 - Mayong Mistmoore |
Seems bard with iksar illusion mask + song would be an instant +1600 boost on top of grinding I’d figure that would get you there

It's pretty easy to get max KoS to bards. But getting Dubious or better in MM would take ~10-30x longer. Might give it a go at some point in Vanilla -- it's still many moons before we see Kunark. |
an NPC can only be on one faction. But you can lose several by killing it. All the NPCs in mistmoore are on AgentsOfMistmoore which cannot be raised.

Good luck on illusion and some form of alliance spell. Maybe, skele, or elemental + an alliance. Regular invis and Invis Vs Undead work real good in there though, also harmony, so it is kind of pointless.
