Taunt not giving success messages any more
 

Hi. For the past two days my taunt has not been giving any success messages. I am unsure if it is even working at all. Does anybody know what the case may be? Thanks.

So, several reasons potentially:

What are you fighting? If it's not relatively humanoid they don't indicate they've been taunted. A bear won't speak to you.

What level are the enemies? If they're higher level than you Taunt either doesn't work or is significantly less likely to work.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I know about only taunting blue con mobs. The things I fought were undead frogloks, bats, spiders and I pretty sure skeletons aswell. I had not considered that non humanoids dont reply to taunt, something I had never thought about or realised.

Yes none of those will tell you you've successfully taunted.

One way to gauge success is to be at a slight angle from whatever has your mob distracted... hit taunt. Is it now facing you and swinging? If so, bingo <3
