advice on rogue upgrades
 

I currently have around 320p ish and want to start upgrading my gear for my halfling rogue.
This is is gear so far:
ears: Electrum Amber Earring x2
fingers: Silver Amber Ring x2
neck: banded
head: banded
face: split paw mask
chest: banded
arms: banded
cloak: banded
waist: banded
shoulder: banded
wrist: banded
legs: banded
hands: split paw gloves
feet: banded
primary: dragoon dirk
secondary: serrated bone dirk

I really hate the way banded looks on halflings and just my gear would like some new upgrades. If you guys got any ideas that would be helpful. I checked the wiki and I'm not too sure on what I could buy.

Weapons first, I believe, is the conventional advice. You might have to save up a little longer. Off the dome, here are some bits and bobs of various price ranges.

ears: Electrum Amber Earring x2 - can go for the gold for 25p each
fingers: Silver Amber Ring x2 - jagged bands for 80p each or 5/55s for 250p each
neck: banded - spiked collar for 5pp
head: banded - Blackened Iron Crown for 200p
face: split paw mask
chest: banded
arms: banded
cloak: banded - werewolf hide or white wolf hide; someday Hooded Black Cloak
waist: banded - Purity Belt - ez pickup from OOT farmers or merchants
shoulder: banded
wrist: banded - Bracers of Erollisi
legs: banded - eventually Silver Plated Leggings
hands: split paw gloves
feet: banded - Boots of Brawn or Dwarven Work Boots
primary: dragoon dirk - Gloomwater Harpoon
secondary: serrated bone dirk - Polished Steel Dirk

I think the BI Crown is the best available rogue hat in this era.

Strength increases damage without increasing aggro.

If you really hate how banded looks on halflings the best solution is to go get your mask if deception.

Why did you roll a chain wearing halfling then?

To answer your question, you should save up for a gloomwater harpoon and a polished steel dirk. You may be able to find one of those for 300, but definitely at 400. Next of just save for platinum for wedding rings, then whatever str/hp/ac gear you can afford. Honestly, those two weapons and some banded well take you a looong way.

Side note, you should be using the serrated bone dirk in your main hand. Airways keep higher damage in the main hand.

Otherwise get bloodstained mantle, platinum ruby veil, gold amber ears, jagged bands (you need some ac), werewolf cloak, another SBD, black iron crown

Hide/sneak to ass/sup camp to get mask
Hide/sneak to phinny lair to get trident
5ac/55hp rings x2

What level are you - maybe the forums could help toss out some good solo rogue plat farming spots for your level. I certainly will try to suggest some spots for you.

Reinforced leather armour has AC comparable to chain but at much less weight. Some pieces even match banded on AC.

Remember why do rogues like to wear leather armour?

55hp 5ac rings and call it a day. Level up and loot woven shadow rots in a couple months.
