Kunark Factions
 

Educate me please:

What factions should I raise or not screw up for Kunark?

Back in classic I wiped out my existing chars when Kunark launched and started my Iksar and the only faction I cared about was the Neriak one, easily done with Red Wine.

Assuming I now have a stable of various chars, everything from Ogres to High Elves is there anything I can do to make Kunark better faction-wise?

Because now is the time...

Interesting question, I too look forward to seeing the input some folks have.

I know there is a really good faction guide on the Wiki that specifically talks about Iksar faction and it seems really helpful.

If you want to be a puller/tagger in VP start killing in mistmoore, a few thousand kills should cover you.

Life is a lot easier if you can be on relatively decent terms in both FV and VS. Agnostic gnomes can bank/buy/sell in both zones.

Major bonus (but takes awhile to raise) are Chardok and Cabilis factions.

This if you want to travel unharassed by Gorenaire through DL to KC, through emerald jungle by severilious or be a puller for VP.

Afterwards farm in Droga a lot to get faction for pulling in Chardok(no not for Blue-version AoE groups).

Nuggue.. don't draw any more attention to droga than needs be... Send their ass to nurga

This soo much. While the skin and salt drop rate is better in Droga the kill rate in Nurga more than makes up for it.....unless you're also looking for twink items.

On blue I was ready for Chardok 2.0 two years before it came out. Made for a great excuse to not go to chardok 1.0 on that char.

Then salts and skins came out, bards farming hundreds and people got that faction in a day. :rolleyes:

The only obvious one I can think of is farming Sentinels in Erudin for Paineel Heretic faction, though "rumor" has it that paineel is coming with Sky release.
