I asked you because I just got on the computer today, and haven't asked around.
Nobody wants to race for all mobs, if i wanted to play a racing game i would play Mario Kart, this is Everquest.

First of all, (i'm not coming @ you, i have love for all p99ers except Caiu and Siryado) didn't you race for KT last night? lol I could have sworn they said you were on the line.
Second of all, Modern Problems Require Modern solutions. If this was Velious raiding in 2001... we'd all sit under the mob and javelin to get first FTE. Or, idk, Train city? The racing meta worked great for a long time on this server, and obviously, something needs to be done.
I'd like to be excited for Vulak to pop again. Instead of.... fuck here comes 4-5 hours of trains and stale mates. Not fun guys. Not fun.

The racing meta did not work "Great" for a long time. It was literally THE MOST boring time in a raiders' life if you weren't part of the 1-2% of the guild racing.
Stop showering that time period with roses and "oh, it was just so heavenly!" because it wasn't. 98% of the guild logged in, sat around to see if their guild won FTE, logged in to kill or log out. Hell, most people didn't even log in unless "FTE OURS" was in the BP, that's how horrible it was.
The grass is always greener on the other side and the fact that the GM's are actually allowing this charade of racing to go forward proves that peer pressure and non-stop whining actually have results. Some leaders of certain guilds know this and utilize it as a valuable tool.
You want, Earn it. Go get it. Just quit trying to sell everyone a turd that you polished up and claim it's pure gold and will also cure all the ails of the world.
That "something needs to be done" is on YOUR leadership and their ability to work with other guild leaders on the server, or lack thereof, not the GM's coming to save you.
