At what point?
Should we expect certain items to become stackable that are currently not? Pelts and Skins are a prime example. I have gone over every single patch notes from EQ and do not ever show when skins/pelts become stackable. However, I distinctly remember them being stackable at some point in Kunark when tailoring and smithing changes occured.
If you look at this link: http://web.archive.org/2000090100000.../eqtraders.com You can click the different dates of when updates where done for EQTraders. Kunark came out April 2000, and if you click on the next EQTraders May update you can see also that the old cultural smithing was put into the game. Should we expect to see this update for smithing sometime soon also? |
Also if you go back to the 1999 listing of patches which is only one and then click on learn a skill you can see that Banded is not supposed to trivial out until 188 on chest piece.

Also be careful what you ask cause you might open a can of worms you didn't intend to.
There are somethings that are stackable now that shouldn't be: The Ruins of Kunark (March 2000) Quote:

There is a lot of other trade skill stuff I didn't bother to copy that doesn't become stackable till 2002, but those items aren't in the game yet |
Okay, I missed that when I replied for some dumb reason. My first question still stands though. Heck, Spider silks and spiderling silks are stackable why not pelts/skins?

They might just get nerfed after this post I'm affraid. :(
But all that means is that people will need to have a sewing kit on them when farming silks from now on. |
