Stupid me when I heard deer are one of the biggest killers of humans I thought no way, like aggressive males goring people? Someone had to explain it’s deer jumping in front of cars and killing people through their front windows, or causing them to swerve off the road

A bull moose is like 7-8 feet tall. I bet anything but a truck and the antlers go through your windshield

This was a female and I’m in a truck so I’m 99% sure I would’ve been fine. But who knows. It still would’ve sucked

Ran to the kitchen, got a plate, ran back and dove to get it in front of the cat right before he puked on the carpet

Thanks for the wind up, Ernie

Tested out my mile time, ran it in 6:39. Which I'm happy with.

Nice man. Yeah that’s pretty quick

Bought my son a bow and arrow. They're safety arrows and the bow has a 40 lb draw but we had a safety talk in which I laid out rules like those you'd follow handling a rifle.

He's an attentive little dude and is taking them very seriously so far, which is awesome.

Bought a grandfather clock at a yard sale today. one tenth of the price of new. It is very strangely satisfying winding it up. The ticking of the pendulum moving the hands, reading a book and having a smoke of some vanilla cardish tabacco. Going to be a great night.

I hope you get to bow hunt with him down the road. That was one of the coolest things I regularly did with my sons. We haven’t been in a bit but we plan to go elk hunting in CO next year
