Hadden sometimes has an empty corpse
 

The mob Hadden in Qeynos Hills drops either a Fishing Pole, or a Fishbone earring. Recently I killed him and he had an empty corpse. I saw him spawn with no Fishing Pole, so I know the Fishing Pole was not disarmed. He should have had an earring. The kill time according to my logs was:

11/18 11:29:45am pacific time

I didn't think much of it at the time, but someone else told me they noticed the same empty corpse issue so I thought it best to submit a bug report.

To my knowledge, mobs in EQ do not have empty corpses. At any rate, I've never played on a server where Hadden ever had an empty corpse (live, p99 blue, etc).

was the pole disarmed?

No, as I noted in my initial report, I saw Hadden spawn (I had his previous time of death) with no fishing pole. No one else was anywhere near him at the time either.

I just saw hadden spawn without a pole and automatically thought gratz an Earring, but player said No Earring just a ration !(wth), Furthermore said last 6 spawn 3 had poles and 3 no pole none of which had earrings. I'm guessing the patch made it harder?

There is a chance of this occurring, but it does not impact the drop rate of the fishbone earring.
