I’d be interested in seeing how the obvious problems of merging green into blue would be solved.

If someone already has the maximum number of toons on blue, will the client be able to accommodate twice the number of characters it was designed for (assuming all character slots on green, on the same account, are used)?

Since people were allowed to use their blue character names on green, how will that be dealt with in a merge? If you’ve tried creating a new character lately, you’ve seen how difficult it could be to come up with a pronounceable string of letters.

I can see Green becoming “Old Green” at the end of its timeline, and all future “New Green” servers eventually dumping into it. That would be much less of a nightmare for the dev team, and save blue from an oversupply of legacy items.
