Blue: Lightsones turn in North Karana
 

On the blue server I tried turning in light stones and greater light stones in north karana and did not receive either the book or any experience.

What was your faction level with Mrysila?

Okay I ran out there (for the community!). Surprisingly enough I’m dubious. I did try sneaking and got to indifferent and she accepted the turn in.

Now I’m wondering if she supposed to be dubious? I’m a half elf rogue of Bristlebane. Maybe there was a patch on Gypsy faction but I thought they were indifferent faction. I did the same turn in a bunch on my iksar monk a while back, but may have missed a patch note.

Everyone should be dubious or better due to her being a merchant.

Which faction is required?

I’m pretty sure every character was indifferent to gypsies until recently. None of the other merchants at the camp or Mrysilla would sell to me without using sneak. I know for certain I’ve vendored there on all manner of characters before, including my Iksar. Something may have changed but I’m not sure whether the new faction is classic. The gypsies selling to evil characters (iksar especially) has been a big part of p99 until now.

I think indifferent must be required for the quest as she ate the turn-in at dubious but it worked when I used sneak to reach indifferent.
