Insinuation. The idea being, if anyone questions the ambiguous motives or intent behind our guild, call them racist. It's a game within the game. Push the limits of what's allowed. Just as is the case when raiding, it isn't about what you're accused of, but what can be proven, what you can get away with and for how long. For some, that's where the fun is to be had. The only way they could have made virtual black face more obvious would have been to be playing all bards with masks of obtenebration. It isn't so much what was done, but who did it which answers the question of why. If you know anything about the players behind the characters, they aren't exactly deserving of the benefit of any doubt.
