I’m not a scientist but to me it sounds like a dumb promise to make
In my job we are taught to never make a promise that you can’t keep or maybe won’t happen. It’s why a good counselor will never say “it’s going to work out in the end” or “it’s going to be ok” because we can’t know that. I understand that leading in government is a different position and it’s a leader’s job to sound optimistic and keep the masses calm
But it’s like saying “I’m going to shut down the flu”. It’s going to keep mutating. It’s here to stay, even if all states were on board. Once again, not a scientist, so maybe someone can explain how they eliminate covid? |
