The problem is that some companies stupidly prefer to alienate and lose 50% of their customers becoming partisan and others choose not to. This becomes confusing. The list of woke companies I no longer do business with is so long it becomes hard to keep track. And none of of has to do with voting, I was making mental notes to not support these woke companies YEARS ago

I agree that what we need are politicians to display which companies support them financially, like stickers on a nascar car. And have a Democrat (and much more rarely), a Republican logo next to every company so we can more easily remember their political affiliations

But if I had my way, we'd take it farther than that. There can be no peace, there can be no unity. Someone needs to decide to secede. Split the country in half, and have each political party govern their own way. No more roadblocks to passing the legislation they want to pass. If we could fast forward 200 years into the future, I bet that is the United States we would see. Or should I say, the Divided States

Your participation is indifferent to their bottom line lol. You are not Galt.

As to the rest, that's called New Federalism and it's a fucking banger.

If my choice to no longer do business doesn't matter, then my vote doesn't matter. And if my vote doesn't matter, then voter suppression doesn't matter. But as it turns out, when hundreds of thousands of people do a thing, it starts to matter

If someone ten years ago said I'd see Republicans try to start a civil war because of "woke capitalism" I wouldn't have believed them.

Hundreds of thousands who may not have even been buying those products to begin with. The US population is 328 million.

You are not Galt.

“May not” is doing the heavy lifting here. You can’t prove that there aren’t existing customers who stop being customers

Also,

I didn’t realize that financial success of your company is only a function of your current customer base and never to expand it. Let me know when your company goes public, so I can know what NOT to buy stock in. Forgive me for not trusting your business judgement

Yeah its called voting with your dollar. You can not shop there. You can not work there. You can burn all your products you already gave them the money for.

Nobody is alienating anyone. They are allowed to have a position on whatever they want or to have no position at all. When your workers come to you and say "you pay these people, you can change this." and they DO, its a problem. When they write legislation for the senators to pass and cut them a fat check, non-issue. Which is it?

See thats your problem. You people are SO extreme. How did you become ALIENATED from a company?? How is there nothing between "i shop there" and "they alienated me by saying they support voters rights."???? I dont even understand how you people can be so flippant and treacherous to oh wait its a cult.

lol, as if conservatives are the only ones who do it. I have a hardcore Bernie supporting far left friend who STILL to this day refuses to ever buy Chik Fil A, even though a few years ago they very publicly stopped supporting the “Save the family” anti-LGBT movement (and all others, I can pull up the news articles)

I don’t burn my own stuff, because I don’t like to waste anything. But what I choose to do with my money is my business

All conjecture.

You are correct, I cannot prove a negative.

Both sides have been bending the general public over for years, I think most American's just want some fucking stability.
