I’m not worried about the Chinese or polarization within America. There isn’t an alternative to democracy that makes any sense and logic always wins out in the end

I am worried about tribalism / polarization in the USA and also globally because nation-states can't survive it. Institutions break down and you no longer have a country. Then you have civil war, which is bloody and fruitless and only stabilizes you for a while before the next one.

So I'm worried about it because I would prefer not to have a bunch of P99 guys die in civil war.
