I'm watching this CNBC interview with Yellen and she talks about how the stimulus money the democrats are pushing is bringing children out of poverty and how the child tax credit will continue to do so (Obviously other democrats are saying the same and hoping this will buy them the midterms.) Powell was on yesterday talking about how the dramatic increase in inflation caught him by surprise but he still stands by it being transitory. Meanwhile, he continues to price the working class out of assets.
Inflation is just an annoyance to those towards the upper end of income earnings, but it decimates those at the lower end. I can tell you from personal experience that diapers at Costco have gone from $28 to $42 in the last month or two alone. Are the democrats, Biden/Yellen in particular, spearheading one of the greatest transfers of wealth in the history of the United States?, all under the guise of doing the opposite? How many of the working class families will soon end up relying on these government checks, only to sign them over to Blackrock so they can rent a home to live in?
