That's not really my main concern, my main concern is I can very easily imagine a situation in the near to distant future where young Americans are being drafted to go fight Russia in a direct conflict because of this shit. It really feels like we're playing with fire, especially with China threatening to invade Taiwan and North Korea threatening to destroy South Korea at the same time.

This could get messy fast, especially when you realize a lot of arab nations who supply the west with oil will likely side with our opposition during a major conflict since their views naturally align.

Russia has been like, colluding with OPEC, to keep supply low and prices high.

They're still mad about Obama fux0ring them so hard with the oil glut.

Tromp really messed up shutting down the refineries.

geopolitics is a dynamic, fast moving game with 1000s of players, each with their own agenda.

you gotta allow for variables in your equations, there are machinations in this world that common folk like us will never know.

also, the russians wont be anyones ally. the russians view the world as if every other nation will kill them for a dollar. they also view things in terms and politics that predate the czars.

for example: control of the crimean peninsula has been an ongoing clusterfuck for the past ~300 years.

It didn’t have anything to do with what he said, I’ve always said there should be a point where we say we have to reduce funding due to our own limitations, not any hatred of Ukraine or love of Russia

The fact that isn’t even an acceptable topic still I find concerning. Just like how Dems (although I don’t consider what I just said a Democrat issue) refuse to give what they feel is a reasonable number of asylum seekers or border crossers in a year. There can’t be a limit because any limit is considered un-ideological and that’s a bad way to make policy decisions
