I love the argument of “well we don’t have evidence of a lot of illegals getting caught voting, therefore illegals don’t ever try to vote”

Or maybe you just suck at catching them? “The trap I never set in the woods has never caught any rabbits, therefore there are no rabbits in the woods”

Lol "voting papers".

Why yes, it makes total sense that you need to show an ID to buy many products, go to a rated R movie, fly, leave the country, enter the country, rent a car, open a bank account, or buy a gun.

But electing the next president of the US? Nahhh, no ID required. Democrats somehow believe that not requiring an ID to vote makes elections more secure.... think about that. Really think about that.

80% of black voters support voter ID. You are actively opposed to their wishes. Why are you racist?

None of which are rights enumerated in the US Constitution.

Unlike voting.

Proving who you are to vote for the next president: Makes sense.

Proving you have a vaccine that you might not even really need to buy shoes at the mall or whatever: Does not make sense.

See? They are different things. It's not hard to "reconcile" them.

Yes, legal US citizens have the right to vote. Random people who happen to be in the US illegally do not. See the difference? It's the same reason I can't just go on vacation to Italy or whatever and vote in their elections, or any other country.

Seriously, WHY be opposed to this? You have absolutely no argument, at all. It's just a party line orthodoxy that you aren't brave enough to oppose.

Republicans don't usually operate on good faith, such as Georgia legislators making it illegal to give people water because of voter ID.

Weird attempt at a pivot.

I just don't want to, as a citizen, to have to show my papers to the Stasi. :)

Well then I assume you must oppose all situations when showing ID is required? I mean, why even have ID's at all? Your logic is completely incoherent and falls apart under even cursory scrutiny.

That never happened, you are simply wrong sorry Horza.

You also, as always, completely dodged the central question: Why should we have to show ID for ANYTHING if we don't have to show it to elect the next president, which some might say is more important than buying beer?

This is like saying you dont want to vaccine because freedom when you already wear your seatbelt.

It's not crazy/racist to ask for voter ID, it's just not.

I'm not arguing for or against it, but it is basically like saying wearing clothes is authoritarian right.
