Traditionally speaking, no. Whoever owned the home would get to decide who lives in it. Assuming he owned the home, it would be his right to allow his family to live there. Only if he dies and leaves the house to his family will they then have the right to the house.

At which time, it is a realized economic gain for the inheritor(s) and such are the consequences. /nods

Here's a philosophical question for the board at large:

Do you deserve wealth that is inherited?

Not legally. Obviously its legal and should remain so for the foreseeable future.

But in a cosmic "whats right" sort of sense. Can it be justified as a fair thing and not merely a practical thing.

Obviously yes, it is right and just.

What is the alternative? The wealth that somebody earned shouldn't be theirs to distribute as they see fit? You should instead have some totally unearned right to steal it from them and distribute it as *you* see fit? How is that justice?

It's called a metaphor

I think you should only have as much wealth as you can personally hold on to at any time and that the state should probably not protect the assets of big multinational firms. Intellectual or otherwise. Nor take wealth from others. Nor protect your wealth, especially once it reaches beyond your capability or capacity.

A big part of the problem is wealthy people controlling poor through business. Lobbies. Regulation. And straight up being able to leverage millions as soon as someone becomes competitive. Same reasons healthcare sucks in this country. It's protectionism and a racket. Enforced by the ATF, DEA, FBI, CIA, FDA, and USDA.

Shut it down.

capitalism is the exact same as communism, because im pissed joe biden called in a favor to cut in line using his position of power the same way I would be if a rich guy payed to cut in line using money.

If ppl could get their ass wupped for cutting that'd be a start.

I'm not talking about murder or permanent injury. Just a lesson with a lil something to remind folks to be orderly for a few days.
