The inflation problem is simple, after spending 1.2 trillion last week on the infrastructure bill, we just spend another 1.8 to 3.5 trillion on the build back better bill, then send everyone stimulus checks in the meantime so they can pay for things during this inflation period because of how obviously transitory it is. Why stop injecting trillions into the economy now when this transitory inflation period is going to be so brief?

Probably another 4 years seeing how Powell isn't raising rates anytime soon and Biden/Congress seem to want to put Lael Brainard in charge who is apparently even more dovish.
