NASA I have this love hate relationship with. It's normally cool and fun to dig around their pictures and science. For the sake of this post tho: While NASA is stupid, like the last time I checked their budget was around 20 billion.

I reckon Jeff will spend this on hookers and blow or it'll go to spy things that should have been bid on by everyone and there should be more companies and less regulation of the space technology so more normal and innovative ppl, less power elites ppl can do the spy stuff.

It's probably good for more than one company to be prototyping, testing, and producing various iterations of a lander model if we really wanna go anywhere out there. Going to space is big but it takes a lot a lot a lot of tiny advancements to get there safely and efficiently.

space travel will continue to be a joke until they figure out something better than chemical or nuclear propulsion. Everything else that could be an improvement is so theoretical, its basically a pipe dream. efficient ion drives big enough for real spacecraft are a hard maybe.
