Ip Exemption Request Question *has anyone done this before?*
 

I just asked for an Ip exemption for my bro and Gf, but after I posted the thread in the petition forum I wondered how I will be notified if we're granted the exemption. I left an email address, but do they send you an email if it's granted? What about if it is denied? Any details from someone who has been through this thing would be appreciated. I'm really curious how this works.:cool:

You just have to keep checking back. They will post an answer.

It is frowned upon to bump posts there.

They do them in batches according to the date posted.

I received a reply in the thread that I created in the petition forum within a few hours. Just check your thread regularly and Those Upon High will eventually get to you.

I'm still waiting on mine after a week. My wife and I want to play together. (we were active on EQ live back when we were dating in the early days)
But I understand it often takes a bit. Ah well.

So should I be able to find my thread in the same area that I found this one I posted? I navigated back to the petition forum area, and I don't see anything. All I need to do is post a thread in that area correct? Any specific information on this situation would be greatly appreciated.

My exemption request thread is still visible to me in the petition forum...with one view. I have no clue why you can not see yours.

I see it now. Just not when I click on my statistics tab and click my threads.

Double-check the sticky in the Petitions and make sure that your post follows the guidelines exactly.

If your post is no longer visible to you, then try logging in. Your exemption may have been granted.

Try also looking in the resolved petitions sub-forum.

Otherwise, if you cannot find your post (try going to your profile and browsing for threads created by you, should be able to find it there) then post a new application. Maybe you got missed and they deleted the thread accidently.

I heard spamming the forum admins with PMs helps the process.

Mine took a little over two weeks.
