I have been trying to find Nilit's contraption
(https://wiki.project1999.com/Nilit%27s_contraption) but I can't find it.

You've been to Steamfont zone correct?

Yes, I have done this on Green. It took hours to get it to spawn.

Yes, the contraption is not rare at all in my experience there.
