Will Blue/Green ever advance in the future

Quick question - couldn't find answer on search:

Will blue/green ever advance (with regards to timelines and expansions) to Luclin/PoP in the future or will this never change?

The devs stated many times that the answer to this question is "no".

There has only been a thousand threads that have touched on this. Players including myself are starting to clamor for luclin, but you wouldn't see it any time this year or next in the event it gained rog and bog approval.

Ok, my search skills are lacking :)
