Question about Petition for "disappeared" corpse
 

Tonight my friend died in Kurn's tower, and when he ran back from Overthere, his corpse was completely missing from the zone. Both him (a shadowknight) and our friend who is a bard tried the "Locate Corpse" spell, and it said, "You don't sense any corpses of that name." We know he died falling from the bridge inside Kurn's; all 3 of us saw it when it happened.

I tried looking up how to petition, and read this post: https://www.project1999.com/forums/a...ement.php?f=25 It says that for corpse summons, you must petition in-game, and they can only summon rotted corpses. Is a missing corpse the same as rotted, or is it on its own timer somewhere in limbo? Or is it gone, and is this a item reimbursement/character restore scenario? If it's the latter, we're supposed to petition on the forum. Any info or guidance would help here.

Also, can anyone give me a vague idea how long it might take for a corpse summon petition to get resolved?

It's not just you happening to everyone that is dying.

So are corpses going to be recovered?

Apparently this is being talked about on the P1999 Discord server and so staff must be aware.
