A galvanized nipple for a cold water bathroom lav had corroded through and was emitting a spray of water. The bathroom floor was covered in water and spreadin downstairs.

After watching them screaming at the phone for a plumber i asked what was the problem , they told me they could not get a plumber to show up on a sunday and they did not know what to do .

I cut the water to the house while I assessed the situation. found out what was the deal had to go to fucking bronx to find a open shop to buy materials, go back fixt it.

So yesterday i open my door to find a very angry dude yelling i´m going to sue you fucking cunt.
this country for the good and the bad never stop amazin me .

Depends on the state, but generally you can't be held liable for something that you do without expectation of compensation unless you were really reckless or negligent in the work you did.
