It's not, why would you think heart disease is a virus?

It is however preventable through strict diet and understanding of the shit you put in your body.

But none of you are telling me to eat health, make sure I have vitamins and minerals.
So are you not by your own definition promoting unhealthy practices?

that makes you a hypocrite.

Good thinking

Except that never happened. The vast majority of hospitals are not overwhelmed with cases, because the vast majority of people who catch covid don't need to be hospitalized for it. Because it's not that dangerous. That's why the news cycle now keeps talking about "RECORD CASES", notice they conspicuously aren't saying "RECORD DEATHS".

I mean I agree that if hospitals were being overwhelmed by covid that would be a very serious problem. But thank god, that really isn't happening.

Plus, covid is never going away. There will always be new mutations, we will have to adapt to living with it like we do for the flu and common colds. When is the right time to drop masking rules? When there is zero covid? It's just not gonna happen, this is no way to live it's paranoid fear mongering now.

Strawman, nobody is making this argument.

It doesn't pose a MAJOR threat to you. Life is a risk assessment every day. You've been cowed into believing that this is airborne plague and that it won't be safe to go outside unless covid is 100% totally eradicated. Thankfully that isn't the case.

I live in a city of about 65,000 people. Our largest hospital hasn't had more than 3 simultaneous covid cases where hospitalization was required, and that doesn't even mean they died they just needed a bed, and it's a relatively red area where lots of people ignore masking rules, and many businesses allow them to, and I can only imagine the rate of vaccine hesitancy is higher.

I know it's an anecdote, but unless I live in some kind of magically-protected area, it really doesn't seem to be a major threat.

I said it before and I'll say it again,

The person with the worst case of covid could spit into my open mouth and I wouldn't die.

Sure i'll feel like shit for a week or so but i'm not "At Risk". Stop subjecting me, protect the people who are "At Risk".

Have you seen your local ICU?

That's a yes or no question
