Meditate appears to be broken on blue server
 

I started an Iksar Necromancer tonight. I had previously played the Erudite necro on green as a try out. The meditate skill worked and leveled normally on the green server. When I moved to the Iksar, meditate does not level on its' own. The skills page shows it at 0. When I go to a trainer it says I have it at level 8, which is the 8 points I put into it. It also says that meditate has hit its' level cap, or something, whenever I trained it at the trainers.

Skill tab says 0. Trainer says 8. I have yet to see meditate level in my chat box outside of the trainer leveling.

Need to be of level to train it correctly. if you train it before hand, you wont get the points and it wont skill up until you get med. Casters dont get med out the gate. Get level 4 and try again. that should correct the issue.

I am having an issue with meditate as well. I didnt try to skill it up until lvl 7 and received the same level cap error. My skill is still set to zero no matter how many times I train it.

I'm going to guess you're on a priest class (cleric/druid/shaman)? They don't get Meditate until level 8.

That explains it. The wiki was just recently updated on this from lvl 5 to lvl 8. In game, the guild trainer showed the skill as trainable as well though, hence my further confusion.
